What RecipReel does

RecipReel turns links you share (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, recipe websites) into structured recipes saved in your personal library.

Data we collect

• Recipes you import — the link you share and the extracted recipe content (title, ingredients, steps, photo from the public post). Stored in our backend (Supabase, hosted in the EU) and linked to an anonymous account created automatically on your device.
• Anonymous account — a random identifier. We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or contacts. No registration is required.
• Shopping list — stored only on your device.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your data.
• We don't show ads or use advertising trackers.
• We don't collect your precise identity, location, or contacts.

Third-party processing

To extract a recipe, the link you share is processed by service providers acting on our behalf: content retrieval (Apify), audio transcription (Groq, ElevenLabs), and AI recipe structuring (Anthropic). Only the public post content is processed — never your identity.

Data retention & deletion

You can delete any recipe, or erase everything via Settings → Delete all my data, which permanently removes your recipes from our servers and your device.
